Thinking of moving to the Seacoast but not sure where to live? Let me introduce you to Rochester, NH. Rochester, known as the Lilac City, is located in southeastern New Hampshire.   With over 44 square miles of rolling hills and rivers, Rochester is conveniently located only a short distance from New Hampshire’s famous Lakes Region, the White Mountains with its ski resorts and the Seacoast with its beautiful beaches.

If you are an outdoors enthusiast, you won’t be disappointed! Rochester is the home of Gonic Trails,  a great spot for hiking. The city also has its own disc golf course and kayak launch and let’s not forget Rochester Country Club for those of you that like to golf. Young families will love the playground in the Rochester Commons and don’t forget to stop by Golicks for an ice cream after. They have over 90 flavors of ice cream!!

Rochester has some great restaurants as well. The Fallen Leaf Bistro has an amazing eggs benedict. The Revolution Taproom and Grill has a beautiful outside dining area. It features American fare and too many beers on tap to list. If you are looking to spice things up..check out My Cielo for some amazing Mexican food and margaritas. The watermelon was my favorite!

Looking for a little art and entertainment? The Garage and The Opera House offer live music. My favorite hidden gem in Rochester… the MFA exhibit in the Community Center featuring artwork by Andy Warhol.

Rochester has a  lot to offer. It features a combination of single family and multi-family homes as well as older homes and new construction. If you are interested in finding a home in the Seacoast area feel free to reach out, we are always happy to help!
